Another lost skill. Etiquette replaced by Netiquette. Yet, we still call it ‘dialing’ and ‘hanging up’. End of rant. I’m going to practice my cursive writing now. Or, maybe I can find a font to type it.
I once got a phone call that went like this:
“Hi. Are your parents there?”
“No. Sorry. Can I take a message?”
“Tell them I called.”
This was before *69 so to this day, no one, even my parents, have a clue who called.
