I used to work with someone who pronounced my name, Be-ill.

Just tell ’em your name is Dirt, or even a more appropriate metaphor…

My wife and a fried of ours eat out together once a week. We frequent a reesaurant where they call your order by name. I give my wife’s name as it is multisyllabic and easier to make out. Otherwise it’s difficult to distinguish between Barb and Bob.

About the only time I go to Starbucks is when I visit the grandkids. They are into it.

Clever. Can’t say this one affects me personally, since I’ve never been a big Starbucks patron, but I smiled at it.
