    That is about the only thing I wanted to do as a kid that I never did get done. Some of my classmates did. Two of them even got to launch one as a display at the playground of our school for the entire school watch . I bet the insurance companies would not let that happen today! (that was in the NASA ‘heyday’ when teachers brought TV’s in when a space launch was happening that day)

    Thought about that vid of an old Atlas rocket that rose maybe six feet, then dropped back to the pad with an explosion that would’ve leveled a city block..
