People who have stinky litter boxes aren’t doing it right. I’ve had people in my home, sitting right next to the litter box, and never noticed until pointed out to them. “But it doesn’t smell!” is the usual comment.
A friend of mine who used to live in North Dakota told me that her house did not have indoor plumbing when she was growing up. When they finally DID get a toilet, it was put into her brother’s bedroom. Talk about ewwwwww!!!!
My cats refuse poop or pee inside, they always want to go outside to do their business, even in the dead of winter……..It’s fine with me…., …..They were found as kittens in a field, two tortoise shell sisters….One didn’t even know how to drink water correctly…She would dip her paw in it and splash it into her face..Made a mess…She’s finally started doing it right….but her right paw still twitches a bit when she drinks……I always recommend getting two cats….Not only can they keep each other company when you’re gone, .they have an friend that thinks like them, not a human….Almost every cat I’ve ever known has told me outright, that humans are just plain stupid, no common sense…To them we are incomprehensible, unintelligible, slow plodding creatures that are too dense to understand what they want…..I do know they understand our language a lot more than we understand theirs… It actually gets kind spooky at times…..Like dogs, they spend a lot more time watching and studying us, than we do paying attention to them. They’ve got our every move down..

Cat boxes are why I don’t share my home with cats.

The only time my cat’s box smells is if he doesn’t get his “business” covered properly. He is 17 years old, so he isn’t as fastidious as he once was.

Take him outside with you, Satch, do your business, and use that mangy little narcissist as your personal pooper scooper.

you also haven’t read this strip very often have you? “Ice structures”, while cute-ish, is also pretty lame-o by GF standards
