    Not only that, there’s usually more detail in a book than in a TV program, and it will arouse your imagination.

    Another vote for the Kindle. It’ll shut itself off if you fall asleep, and start up where you left off.

    I used to read the comics in the “paper” paper, and occasionally would make comments and even save the page for future reference…

    One of the good things about two part tv movies is that at the beginning of part 2 they show just enough of part 1 so that way you feel like you haven’t really missed anything.
