Actually, as someone mentioned towards the beginning of this arc, those circles most resemble Aquaman using his “Marine Telepathy” …

I like the sci fi angle here. Specs may not be the brightest bulb in the box, but the way he uses his glasses is way cool.

Specs uses his magic goggles to a fault. Day two of two-panel goodness means more tremendous art.

That was very creative, Avenger09. I think Star Trek is something most people are familiar with so it lends itself easily to comedy segments like the one you did. Having Star Trek crew commenting on current trends is very funny.

Several folks today have said basically the same idea: the reason for the rock slide vs. just shooting them is to make it look like an accident. I thought so too, at first. But, all those hundreds of shell casings all over the ground would seem to be at least a little clue that, just maybe, there was foul play involved. Unless the bad guys plan to scour the area after the rock slide and pick up all that brass???

All that gunfire is sure to alert Wunbrow and Ivanov that something is amiss! It thus becomes unlikely that they will fall into this improvised trap. Mendoza has the technology that Specs provides, but his plan suggests that he is not the sharpest pencil in the box. And that blocked trail is blocked both ways if DJ’s thugs want to get back to where they started; or maybe they have a route out further ahead in the direction they have been going? If I were Specs, I’d be giving some serious thought to a possible escape outlet for me and Spicy, too….

Pretty sure those giant sea horses were called Jack and Carole.
