The object of the game is to score more points than the other guy. Scoring in basketball is done more often by, well, SHOOTING the damn thing than by any other method.
Whatever happened to that hybrid of basketball, football and trampoline they tried to get going a few years ago. It would been a home for the guys that are 7 ft wide like me
Look at how two dots on each of the three panels are used. In the first panel they are eyes, in the next two panels they are the Iris and Pupal. Just moving those two dots a little from their position in the second panel to their position in the third panel tells a story.
When I was playing high school hoops in the early 80’s, my coach always threatened to yank me from a game if I ever shot beyond fifteen feet, despite being the best player and leading scorer. My how times have changed.

Yeah, if you want to really make things exciting, make a dunk worth four points and watch the traffic under the net get real intense.

I am grateful for the three-point shot. Before then games were just dribble dribble dribble swish, repeat, repeat, repeat…
