I don’t know if Mr. Rosenberg reads any of these comments, but I hope he does. I find that the script he uses is annoyingly hard to read. Ergo, I don’t often look at this strip. While I’m a big fan of cartoon art and the social commentary often behind it, I find that even a mildly illegible font an obstacle to becoming involved with a particular strip. I’ll bet there are a lot of people like me who have the same issue as I do. Cartoon strips should not be hard to read—even if there is a heavyweight social/political or other message inherent in them. Regards.
I’m in agreement with you. Looking back I would have chosen a font not based on my handwriting. Unfortunately these strips were all drawn years ago and I don’t have plans to reletter them.
