In one “Garfield” strip, Garfield killed a spider with Jon’s “Spider Guy” comic book (10 March 1996).
That book is just a web of lies.
Poor Charlotte…
I use a glas and a postcard or similar piece of paper to trap the spider in it and put it outside. No need to kill it – too cruel and messy too.
I’m surprised: as a general rule dogs are not known for their appreciation of irony.
I only kill the ones that might be fiddlebacks.
Spiders love Ivy…
I only kill brown recluses. The rest get shown the door.
Spiders eat things that bite people. Ergo I like spiders.
You could have used your copy of A Quick One by the Who…
It’s a good thing it wasn’t a mocking bird…….(To Kill a Mockingbird) Oh groan!!!
I have no idea what a fiddleback is or a brown recluse!!!
There’s an olde tyme saying, “If you wish to live and thrive, let a spider go alive.” So if you’ve been having a run of bad luck, you might want to let up on the spider assassinations. My dad always carried spiders outside, EXCEPT black widows!
Classic!
