strange that magic works on the water bottle too. or is it more like the star wars carbonite encasing thing?
I thought about the water bottle as well but the same argument could be made about the clothes. It must be a contact issue. Though in “The Lightning Thief” movie the girl was grabbed by the older lady and she didn’t turn when the older lady did.
