    I used to love this with my dearly departed Jack.I would break his treats in to the tiniest pieces, because if I didn’t he would just gobble them straight down.

    Then I would throw one of these tiny pieces one way and he would race over and find it …if it landed on the lawn, no problem … in fact I think in his mind that was even better because he had to “hunt it down”.

    Then I’d throw another piece the other way, and he would run that way and find that tiny piece. This happened over and over again, maybe 10 times for one small treat.Never once did he ever give me any reason to think that he would have preferred the treat in one piece or that he resented the running round.

    In fact, he was just like Louie. Jack definitely gave me the impression that as far as he was concerned it actually made getting the treat even better.
