Lila, Boyd, and Drew live in the Cleveland area. Lila and Boyd live in Lakewood, the first town west of Cleveland, and Drew lives in Rocky River–the next town west of Lakewood. Dr. Fine and Alan live in Shaker Heights, which is on the East Side. Lakewood and Rocky River has beach access to Lake Erie. Just a little geography lesson for you ;-) Have a great Sunday, everyone!
….AND, George Cleveland Alexander was a baseball pitcher for the the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1920’s. He was played by Ronald Reagan in the 1952 movie, but Reagan never visited Cleveland once during his presidency.

I KNEW it! Can’t remember the strip, but I commented that it indicated that Lila was a West Sider. I was born in Lakewood, and grew up in Fairview Park.

The Hindenburg disaster was in Lakehurst, NJ. I’m actually from New Jersey, but north of Lakehurst.
