i started the same way, then graduated from beauty college
and also had a part-time job doing computer work.
i’d come home and didn’t know which hurt most - my back or my hands/arms.
doctor said it was fibromyalgia and that i had to stop abusing my hands/wrist/arms. yeah, right…
stop working and lose my medical insurance and the roof over my head…
to this day i still drop books when i’m reading because of the nerves screaming, ” BUY A BOOK HOLDER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Unfortunately for me, mine hurt when the weather changes. And in KS, that happens fairly often.
Hint, *Claire - Use a razorblade type cutter (on a cutting board). Seems to cause less stress on my hands.
