VistaBill,
I hope the boost I gave you lasted through the day and evening? I like to make peopje feel good.
———————————————————————–
Sure did, SS! Beginning to wear off now, though! It’s beditime for me anyway (1:20 am edst here).
I’ve turned in, also…only 11:26, but it’s been a very busy day. More thundershowers, and we can’t see the sky again for that wonderful meteor shower!!! Bummer
“Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream,
Make her the sweetest that I’ve ever seen.
Give her the word that I’m not a rover
And tell her that her konwsomw nights are over!”
Slim, I’ll never forget the time Mama tried to get a picture of a roadrunner. She had just bought a new high speed camera and thought she could get one easy. We were at Petrified Forest National Monument. Roadrunner took off around the cactus. You should seen her chasing that booger round and round that prickly pear.
davidf42, my Dad once wanted to get a photo of a horned lizard that was sleeping in the sun. It took him 1/2 hour or so to sneak up on that thing so he wouldn’t wake it, while he made my brothers and me stand back and be quiet. He got his pic, then looked a little closer. It was dead.
“Slim….. I love your singing voice. Sing some more. please”.
Where, may I ask, did you hear me singing? I didn’t know any of my stuff was out there to listen to?
I’ve only sent a CD to SmithRA yesterday. His boys are computer smart and, he says they will know how to get it
on the net with links so that my friends can listen.
Jan, that’s a great story. I don’t have many recollections of horned lizards but I remember horned toads very well from my childhood in Houston. We used to pick them up and play with them Haven’t seen one in years and years.
MontanaLady. I finally got it. I read JanCinVV’s post there towards the end of Thursday’a, and it dawned upon me what you ladies were refering to.
Well, I want to thank you both and, by golly, I will. I’ll post up a verae omce in a while. I know a few and parts of others. I am also a karaoke lover. Used to have a sort of fan club when I lived downtowm. I sang all types o f stuff, from way back when, to Pink Floyd and Hendrix and their ilk . keep listening!

david, same animal. We called them horney toads, but I thought “lizard” sounded better.
