My family has the under-the-shirt rule for back scratches. You can barely even feel anything if someone is scratching you over a sweater…unless they have talons or claws.
I have a very itchy back. I’m always asking my hubby to scratch it. Which he does, very well, I might add. However, the itch needs to be “killed”, when he finally finds the exact spot the itch end up, I say ask him to slap it. The little sting stops the itch from returning for awhile. (Try it on a mosquito bite! Don’t scratch it, slap it!) Problem is he HATES to slap me. Which I think is a very admirable quality in a hubby! But the itch won’t go away any other way! My Dad also has a very itchy back. And if we are going to get sick it gets VERY itchy first.

Another strip where I can understand Arlo completely, hit that sweet spot on my back and I will have the exact same reaction every single time.

There was one time I was scratching myself, hit that spot that sets off the kick reflex and nearly knocked myself out.

Have a grandson that does that. Its just so funny. He starts an argument and I just scratch his back. I won.
