Moon must be in the “new” phase.
I always wondered what happened to that balloon from the short film “The Red Balloon.”
My late German Shepard would howl at a full moon. Eerie sound at 3 AM.
Once in a red balloon, Odie howls.

Maybe Odie’s colour blind
Dogs are colorblind, so it’s no surprise he would confuse it. Or perhaps he’s just too fond of howling that he needs substitutes.
