Any cat I’ve ever met would claw your face off if you picked it up and gave it a big hug.

Sorry, but Mimi is not pretty or cute to me. Give her some hair already!

I’ve been owned by many cats of many colors. I always found orange tabbies to be completely cuddle-able. Black and whites are good, too. right now I’m owned by a gray-white mix and a Siamese. They both “deign” to let you pet them, and they’ll “allow” themselves to be picked up, but they don’t like it.

It’s times like this when I miss my own cats.

I can remember a strip from long, long ago, when Abby was proudly showing off Mimi with her new hair (or rather, head) band. Rose gave her a big smile, while inwardly thinking, “And I thought this kid couldn’t get any homelier….” Not too long afterwards, Mimi was The Mom Magnet.
