Get This: I was walking down town the other day... and I picked some litter up off the ground... and the moment I there it out: ding ding ding ding ding you're a winner!! Im Swen Benson!! we placed that garbage on the ground to see if anyone would pick it up!! and because you did, we're gonna give you a check for one thousand dollars!! Keith: So now Im drawing this strip from the Bananas... all because I made a call step in cleaning up my community!! Kerstin: Is this true? Keith Nah...but if it gets one person to pick up litter it'd be worth it!!

My high school principle regularly, and somewhat randomly, gave small amounts of cash if he saw someone pick up litter, although he had to be sure first that the student had not seen him coming. But it did inspire us to pick up.
