Y’know, I’d expect Francis and Teddy to actually be a little sympathetic of their friend…Oh wait, no I wouldn’t. For a second there I forgot about how they’ve become even worse than Nate was before this story arc.

Say what you want about Trudy, but let’s face it- she did have at least have some positive effects on Nate. He became much more mature than he used to be.

Well, that sucks! Next time he won’t break a relationship for these clowns.

@RySonicI would agree with what you said. Nate has become more mature over this whole experience.

The look on all their faces in the last panel tells me all I need to know about their friendship. It is strong and good and its only the real close friends that can rag on each other mercilessly but always have each others back in the long run.

I hope that Trudy will appear towards the end of this week, perhaps trying to smooth things out. What I DON’T hope is that Nate reverts to his old ways and chases Jenny down like a crazed dog. Even if Nate is annoying, Jenny is way too mean. She’s the least likable character of the strip.

I think that Trudy was not the right girl for Nate. I liked Angie the best. I still wish she had not broke up with Nate. Oh and Francis and Teddy are really good friends. In one Big Nate book he states that they all make fun of eachother. It is just how they work. When it comes down to it they have each other’s back. Now go talk to DeeDee about it Nate!

Yeah right.

This is Big Nate. Literally, Nate’s life summed up in four boxes. Can we just make this the banner for the comic itself?

Nate’s my kind of guy, stands with his friends knowing that they will do the same. I have a friend like that. When we get together his wife looks at us as we were in sixth grade, but we can do this because we know what the other one is willing to go through for each other.
