Really, Jamal. It is time to look elsewhere. If a simple gesture of affection results in a black eye, then Yolanda is either not at all in to you, or she has got some kind of undealt-with, massive, pysch trauma from her past–body issues, weird uncle stories, “shortcut through the park when I was 14” story–that ought to make you re-think this relationship.
