Wow, loved this. The wiz just shot down every ghost story I’ve ever heard.

Luckily for the Fink, his crown will protect his forehead, but Bung is on his own.

Can’t be any worse than those camel spiders of Saudi Arabia: huge, nasty things. One cameraman on an expedition (I saw this described on TV somewhere) found a good chunk of his face and/or nose had gone AWOL during the night thanks to one of those… and thanks to the spider’s anaesthestic, he never felt a thing.

Wow … how much do you think those spiders would charge for that anaesthetic?

I think Bung is safe - he’s so pickled that nothing can survive a bite.

Kill him now. Either way, the thought of 3-inch bugs will make sleep impossible.

If you can’t understand to comic, just don’t read it. It makes it easier for the rest of us to get to sleep at night. :-)

Don’t believe everything you see on TV, Johanan. “Camel spiders” (solifugids) don’t eat humans, and only bite in self defense.

Friend of mine used to tell me he hated watching

George Page on PBS’s “Nature” where they’re

showing big bugs eating other bugs….

I asked him ‘why don’t you switch channels”?…

He said…”Because I want to see how it’s gonna end”..

well….Captain obvious…indeed…

Then there is that “Night Gallery” episode about earwigs..

and their eggs hatching..”Ouch” that’s gonna hurt..
