It’s good that you found out when you’re young.

Seems like everything we like is either illegal, immortal, or fattening.

Nobody ever looked back on their youth and wished they had watched more Killer Prom Queen or stayed up till midnight … I’m just kidding.

In the movie “Big” Tom Hanks asks his adult girl friend if she would like to join him and go back and be kids again. She shockingly said no, “I’ve been there once, and once was enough.”

I would give anything to go back and enjoy the years of my youth. For me what could be better than being 12 again.

There’s an old phrase people used to use to express the restrictions of life: “Everything I like is either illegal, immoral or…fattening!”

Hello C&H followers! Can someone help with an info?I follow C&H since 2007 on Gocomics.com. I noticed sometimes for a while there are repetitions. I was told it happens the same way as it happened when C&H went on “real time”: when Waterson had a holiday, they used old strips. Now it is the same again, but this time this repetition is much longer than usually. (I think it is longer than two months already.) Does anyone know how long this repetition season would be? I think the posting of C&H strips couldn’t yet start over, because Waterson did C&H for 11 years, and since 2007 it was only 9 years…Thanks in advance!

Dear Calvin , this ain’t the age to learn what is good and bad. You need to carry on with your routine. The show is on.

Obviously, Calvin! Think about it: ice cream tastes good, but it is not healthy. Zucchini tastes gross, but it is healthy for you. (I don’t know why I picked zucchini. I just don’t particularly like it compared to other vegetables.)

Asparagus for kids? Don´t they smell bad enough already?

Calvin – Asparagus can be fun. Eat lots of it and your urine will stink. Then you could run around like a dog and leave your scent! Think of the possibilities Calvin.

Choose an age? I’ll take 42. I was full of myself (so they say) and I could run a snow blower thru 3 foota snow before the engine would even start, work 3 shifts, run 2 miles into town and walk back (hey, we’re talking reality here) and still slap down an under-age drunk who’d been over-served and was testing the mettle of ‘an old man..’ 40 years later and widowed, I can be found at the local Wal-Greens with an armload of pain meds, salves and lotions that guarantee that I’ll be able to get in/outa my car without moaning and groaning. (they lie)

Sort of feels like the other way around.

Next time, do a list of her replies. That way, you can find out what your limitations are and find a strategy that would make them say yes. I did that with my parents and it sometimes worked.
