Misery loves company. I had a co-worker who went out of his way to antagonize everyone because he had to work for a living. There was an invisible line on the floor delineating “this is my job and there is your job and I’m not crossing the line to help you even if you have helped me in the past.” He took absolute delight in making people upset. Away from the plant, he tried to be buddy-buddy. He was a miserable excuse for a human being.
