Clayton: Maybe five?
Katy: You couldn't tell they were old?
Clayton: They had that light-colored dusty look, but...well...you know. Chocolate.

It’s called “Chocolate bloom”, and it is either cocoa butter (fat bloom) or sugar (sugar bloom) brought to the surface by varying storage temperature. Not harmful or off flavor, just looks weird.

Glad I had my allotment of chocolate for the day already. As an avowed chocoholic, I’ve gotta at least have some in the morning.

Not a big fan of chocolate, any time I have some in my house it is for a specific purpose so it gets used right away.
