I got banned from answering the phone, which is all right. I don’t like talking to disembodied voices; I haven’t memorized all the “cold call” identifying numbers; I have better things to do with my time; if it involves me, my wife will hand it to me.

Better yet, if they call twice, block the number. I give them one “free call” but if the same number shows up a second time, they’re blocked!
