Oh, yeah. Now, you need to get a job and pay Mrs. Olsen’s emergency room bill.

Most coffee addicts don’t need a distraction to miss something that glaring before their first cup.

Shouldn’t the coffee be dripping off of Caulfield?

He should have the energy to clean it up all by himself. That wasn’t an April Fools joke. That was an April butt hole joke.

Hmm, it looks like she’s looking into her cup in the first panel. Must be a very small hole if she didn’t see it.

What pranks have you pulled today? (or yesterday for some).I woke my son up this morning and told him that there was NO SCHOOL today. Had to repeat it before it sunk in. APRIL FOOLS.I woke my daughter up and told her that it snowed last night. APRIL FOOLS.

Look carefully at the middle panel. You’ll see a stream of coffee drizzling out of the hole, just to the right of her pants leg.

I totally missed the dripping coffee too, especially on my smartphone’s small screen. Jef drew it too close to the pantline.

Have to agree with you. I don’t mind non-damaging, non-malicious startlements, but anything that requires a clean-up like that is off-limits for me and not funny. I prefer ones that make the victim laugh when he/she realizes they’ve been “had.”.One of my favorites is a YouTube video of a guy showering (with bathing trunks on) at swimming pool. He’s washed his hair and is rinsing, while a buddy keeps sneaking up behind him putting more shampoo on his head. The one in the shower can’t figure out why the suds won’t go away. Non-damaging, non-malicious..One I saw on one of the late-night talk shows I may try today consists of printing out a big (3-4 inch) bug silhouette, then taping it to the inside of a lamp shade. Nothing shows until the lamp is turned on. But I’m hoping for a moment of startlement when the light goes on and the shadow of a big bug appears on the shade.

Once upon a time, my son poked a tiny little hole in the bottom of a can of Coca Cola and drained, (and drank), the soda. Then he laboriously refilled the can with water, sealed the hole with wax, and stuck it back in the fridge. When I got back from the beach, he got off the couch, asked if Iʻd like a Coke, went and got two cans out, brought them into the living room, popped the tops and handed me “mine”. Shock to the system when you are expecting something sweet and tongue-tingly!!! I chased him down the beach; him laughing and giggling the whole way!

bigpumaOr Pullman porters George. I though Phillip would have been more appropriate. Or Mr. Randolph.

I don’t think it was a hole in the cup – I think she was distracted by Caulfield and kept pouring.

Mallett designed that middle panel carefully. You have to look closely to see the dripping coffee.
