What happened to the green background from yesterday? Guess it turned pale from fear of what is to happen.

This bus is not going to crash and hurt any of the children.

I admire and respect them, but a school bus driver’s job, I would not want.

Like Fred Flintstone, I would probably take the job driving the dynamite truck.

Looks like an outtake from “Speed”. Where’s Sandra Bullock when you need her?

Fusnr - You’re right. The artwork is superb in this story. Even the background color helps set the mood.

PowerBoy - I don’t think so either. The bus may crash, but I doubt if Scancarelli would have any of the children get hurt.

YellowPeeps - Why? I don’t see how the driver did anything wrong.

Trying to pass a law for seatbelts on school buses. Who is going to keep those monsters strapped in?

To bad a lot of people don’t want to drive school buses, just think when in-service comes no driving, off holiday’s to. I would think traffice especially rush hour would be worse then picking up kids. Mean while I tried to get my son to drive school bus and he won’t. Me I work pt in office setting and I asked if there where pt only driver’s was told pick them and and take them home. Told them I work afternoons, and pay is better. So taken care of that, using my free mornings for Jr. college have my books and soon need to read though class starts later Sept. Comics and some tv will give especially during morning time.

For seat belt use I was one of the small ones in a car that suffered from a crash my dad caused and didn’t know I had whiplash to many decades ago. Past year had surgery on neck much better. I have an plate attached to neck and two vertebra’s together.

This reminds me of a film I saw in grade school many years ago, that showed not one but two school bus drivers having fatal accidents.

It takes a special kind of person to be able to drive a school bus and not go crazy. My friend Tammy is such a person and I admire her for her ability to cope with those kids so well.

My school had busses that had a governor on them and would not go over 45 MPH . It would take forever to get back to your school after a losing football game in a neighboring town.
