    Now this is where it’ll get confusing… In French culottes are knickers or panties (for women) in English… Pants in English are undergarments (for men)… Pants in American are trousers in English (uni-sex)…

    In French, the word “tampon” means a plug, a stopper, and/or a manhole cover. If American women knew that, they’d probably quit using them.
