Oh come on people, at least look at ONE picture!

Cathy, welcome back! You’re Fired! LOL

A lot of people think that criticizing others and acting like they know more enhances their experience of life. Those people need to get rid of their “I am god” attitudes or go live in a house of mirrors. The rest of us don’t care what you think.

One word comes to mind about all these people, selfish. Self absorbed is another.

Perhaps if the strip featured sophisticated humor (like a chimpanzee in a suit?), monkeyshines would have appreciated it. It was nice of him to stop by purely for the purposes of insulting the strip and its fans, though, wasn’t it?

So…there are actually people in this world who take the time not only to read something they purportedly despise (regularly, by the sounds of it) but to sign up, log in and comment on it as well. Interesting! I always wondered what people with no lives did with their time. :) As for the rest of us, I’m really gonna miss Cathy. She and I have been together for a loooong time. A lot of people on this site write that she’s boring, or stupid, or whatever. Cathy is reflective of society as it is in the moment. So whatever you see in her, you probably see in yourself.

not a faithful Cathy reader, but i just caught the news that it’s only a month from retirement! i was very impressed with the artist’s interviews i’ve since read, so i thought i’d immerse myself for the last month or so. Kudos, Cathy, for a long successful career.

Apparently Cathy’s going to retire from whence she started. Let’s see… she got pregger’s on vacation and will go home to raise her child? Hmmm

All you folks who want to do nothing but criticize - go away so the rest of us can enjoy the last couple of months with Cathy. We don’t need your useless snarky comments.

I’m hoping we end with Cathy being pregnant. Even though I would have enjoyed seeing her go through her pregnancy. I’ve been reading Cathy since the beginning; I’m sorry to see it come to an end.

I know how Cathy feels - no one likes to be ignored. It is disrespectful and rude! That is why it makes me sad when no one comments on my postings.

I’ve been hearing people here say they hope Cathy gets pregnant for months now. Either it would fix her life, or it would shut the in-laws up, or it would bring the comic strip full-circle at last, or it would do something else to gratify readers.

But does the world really need a 7 billionth person just to gratify readers? Especially if Cathy and Irving haven’t been longing for a baby? I say, don’t encourage the zillions who get pregnant just to fix things or gratify themselves. Drop it!

Hmm…. Okay, how about ending it with a murder-suicide? Take your pick as to which of them finally snaps!

Six caskets all in a row… And the dogs get to inherit everything! Unfortunately, because Cathy and Irving’s finances were a mess, the dogs were sent to the shelter and immediately put down because they were deemed too mentally unstable after living so long with Cathy and Irving…

How do you have any idea where Burgundy2 is posting from? Why does it matter? People at work do get breaks during the day, and lunch times when their time is their own. If a company allows employees to go on-line when they’re not working, why is that your business? And why do you keep picking on Burgundy2?
