@DOSQueen: Amen! Went to CA state college in the ‘60s; paid $60 a semester + books, and got jobs through the college’s Work-Study program. My first job when I got out of school paid $8000/yr. . .was comparing that to the $27,000 debt a friend’s youngest daughter has to pay off. . .
