I’ve thought about taking my squirrel in, having him weighed before and after, and paying for the difference.
One March, the store had bought too many christmas nuts, and had them on sale for 25c/lb. I bought $10 worth for the little tyke. Little no more, though.

Zoonosis is rare. I’ll take a healthy squirrel over runny-nosed, uncorraled children any day.
