How accurate this is. My mother is an artist. When she painted a portrait of my great-grandparents, she had painted a much younger version of my great- grandmother just to keep the peace. And this was a gift from my mother to my great-grandmother.

As a portrait painter, I paint every feature as faithfully as I can when I see it at its best… I like my sitters talk to me so that their faces are animated and natural – not stiffly posed. I firmly believe that changing anything about the person being painted is offensive. If they were not happy with their looks they would not want to be painted!!

Beauty and the Beast. AKA Dorian’s Portrait.Good one, Thom! I like the Picasso-like blue portrait on the wall. Oh- is that the way he looks? Pardon me!
