Yeah, but Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand seemed so quaint and wholesome in all of Hollywood’s depictions. Who would have thought they’d outlaw Judaism and lay down roots for the Spanish Inquisition? Neil looks like he has the Spanish Flu.

However many there were in 1492, there was a lot less after Columbus brought old world diseases to the new world.
