I don’t even want to know how Charlie Brown got to the top the post from all of Lucy’s pounding.

If only she applied that aggression to baseball.

I haven’t played tetherball since sixth grade — and you’d better believe that kids were just that aggressive back then!

Nobody but Snoopy… Maybe!

I’ve never played tether ball, but it looks fun!

I wonder if tether ball is even around these days, what with the over zealous parental concerns their child might get injured during playtime…

You can’t play Red Rover these days, either!

I wish I’d known that as a kid. Our folks got us a tetherball, but never told us the rules of the game or how you win. So after a pointless hour of play my sisters ended up giving up on the darn thing and I eventually used it for batting practice from then on out. Had we known how to play it might have been fun.

LOL I was a very aggressive tetherball player too.

First the Kite-Eating Tree, and now Lucy and that pole. Who knows for how long he is going to be trapped there now.

I played it in grade school…but I preferred zall ball (sp?) … it was a tennis ball on a rope and we used paddles much the same as tether ball.
