Actually the use of tablets and computers are being use in our church. Videos of the sermon are posted on YouTube (by me) and money donations are available using credit cards. We also have a live audio feed of the service too. So this isn’t far off as you can see….

I’ve been carrying my scriptures and Sunday school manuals in my iPod or iPhone for a few years now, and pay my tithing on line since late last year. Also have the church calendar and directory there. I get email notices of special events, also.
Church I go to has service also on media for those who cannot attend church service live. Also can read scripture from smartphones or ereader. That is if electronics do not crash. Live choir.

Not so far from reality. Some church’s already have ATM’s and credit card kiosk’s for tithing.

I use my Kindle in church. Easy to carry and it fits in my purse.

My church streams its services live on the web, and lets you tithe using PayPal.
