Every time I hear some politician talk about “fixing” Social Security, I see a need for the “Senior Avenger”. After someone has had a larger and larger percentage taken out his paycheck over the 40 years he’s worked, to suggest that he’s not entitled to get some of that back sounds like a criminal conspiracy.
Sheik, promises were made to get votes for politicians that are probably not around anymore, big companies also made promises that they could not keep to incentivies workers. The bills are coming due and the people who made the promises have retired with very fat bonuses for doing such a “wonderful job”. Those of us that believed or did not get out in time will pick up the bills. A sad situation when the future looks much darker than the past.
ok, fans, he has grabbed her and thrown her into the turn buckle and then grabs her and applies the facebreaker knee smash and then , (oh the humanity!) the piledriver atomic drop,…it looks like the end……but wait!
she’s grabbing a chair! she smashes his skull in with a overhead swing and he is down; 1-2-3 , he’s out!
The Republican candidate for Senate in my state is the president of the WWE. She’s up against a lifelong government worker, Now the sporting vote and the union vote are already locked in, but the question that’s on every body’s mind is will the brutality of this multimillionaire be able to slam this “aw shucks, I’m just working for the little guy”
Promoters of the event have pointed out that it will be fought in the highest per capita state. This should up the little lady’s odds.
Rum choice in Oz too next Saturday. Promises promises promises to spend money money money. What the pollies don’t seem to realize, or maybe they hope WE don’t, is that it is our money they are promising, not theirs.

I’m EXTREMELY disgusted with them both, Lewreader. How have we gotten to the point where every election is a “hold your nose and vote” sort of thing?
Brown or Whitman? Yeah, California isn’t in bad enough shape…
