Sorry…. I’m still having a problem with it being only her joy that counts.

She tossed the t-shirt (admittedly her t-shirt) that Bub said might give him joy…..but then admonished him about the kind of his own clothes he said he liked.

As she goes through the house “item by item”, and encounters his items… and also Junior’s items….and the household items…and the things that hold shared memories…

Will the guys at least get to decide what gives them joy?It sounds like she thinks it’s all hers!

she still loves her guys. It just feels good to declutter now and then and it has to be ruthless. I, personally, still would have kept the t-shirt

flylady started it all years ago. This new book is just a rehash of her ideas.

I’ve gone through my own dresser drawers and my closet, but I would never, ever dream of touching Hubby’s stuff, and we’ve been married for over 40 years. That’s just plain rude, if nothing else. I have “suggested” he not wear a certain item of clothing, either to whatever function we were attending, or “don’t go out of the yard in that outfit”, but I wouldn’t toss anything that wasn’t my own.
