I wonder if psychopaths are born that way or if that is something they become? With some people it seems to be genetically inherited. But also, I knew a foster kid whose birth mother kept him looked in his bedroom and was fed so little that it stunted his growth. He was also abused in other ways, verbally, physically, and who knows what else. Poor thing looked about half his age. The foster parents tried hard with him, but weren’t trained to deal with severe problems like he had. They had to end up taking him back, they had become afraid of things he did, like be mean to the family’s pets and other foster kids.Being mean or abusing animals is usually a sign of psychopathic children. In his case, I imagine he was born normal and was treated so bad that it made him, um, nuts. Or psychopathic. So it could be both. Most of the 1% have no sense of empathy for anyone except them selves, they can kill thousands of people without remorse.I wish the ones who are born OK and abused as badly as this little boy was, that there is a way to help them.In this strip, these people would be the kind who inherit it.
