Mornin’ CappersAs we round down into the weekend, a thought struck me – the weeks seem to simply fly by, at my age.

I can remember , as a kid, that the days leading up to a holiday ie. a birthday, Christmas, summer vacation, seemed to drag on interminably. There were times in my working career when Friday seemed so far off , even on a Thursday, and Friday itself seemed to go on forever.

Now I look up and say, where the heck did the weeks go ? It’s Thursday already ? Tempis fugit ( and non comebackibus ) !

Regarding today’s strip. The idea was good, the delivery marred by using the word home twice ( once as a noun and once as a verb ).If they wanted to use it as a verb in the last panel, then they would have been better served to have Andy saying in panel #2 *" Heavens knows how I managed to find me house last night. "

You know, if Andy “really” fought in WW II, he would be around 90 or more by now, so probably he IS too old for this!

I don’t get it.
