I think what Lila is picking up on here, and in yesterday’s strip, are the lecherous intentions of the doctor as opposed to the fairly innocent intentions of her old boss at Metro Mart. There is a big difference between wanting to be thought of as attractive and having someone slobber all over you with overt sexual intent.
