Lobster is sold at market price. Since restaurants can’t get the normal supply from reputable dealers, they have to resort to buying on the black market, hence “Black Market Price”.
Nothing to do with oil, since there are no lobsters in the Gulf of Mexico. If the oil eventually gets to Massachusetts, may be a different story then.
