That “I’m sorry” wasn’t just politeness!
Funny how that always happens with old lollies (candy).
Anyone else would have tossed it by now.
I remember doing that.
“Uh, Sorry, Violet. I hadn’t quite figured on that! Want a piece?”“No, thanks, Charlie Brown. I don’t want to spoil my dinner!”
This reminds me of when my grandma kept the leftover popcorn balls from Christmas and handed them out as treats the following Halloween!
In a few years Violet won’t hang out with Charlie Brown for all the candy in the world. . .
They might need a dehumidifier…
Guess it wasn’t M&Ms then. Those are good forever!
Somebody forgot to put them in the refrigerator.
