Now they’ll have to try the last 17 holes for another day… or two, or three… or seventeen.

    Well, that’s a way to spend a month… well, almost a month.

Much better than last Sunday’s strip.

I can so relate to this strip. I used to tell people, “Tiger Woods isn’t all that great. He needs 18 holes to shoot a 63 and I can do it in only 9.”

One hole a week is enough for the whole summer.

I wonder if they are going to run the early Peanuts cartoons that actually showed adults (at least from the waist down) and which Schulz wouldn’t let appear in the original book collections. (Although they did appear after his death in the “Complete Peanuts” books.)

I expect they will, if they continue with “Peanuts Begins” long enough. My understanding is Schulz didn’t really want any of the early strips reprinted (I assume most of the 1950s) because he felt they didn’t reflect his best work. I just wish GoComics would run regular Peanuts strips from the 70s and 80s, but for some reason they seem limited to the 60s.

What was his score for that one 3 hour hole? (63)
