what would re easier to say when a dog’s a round: “cat eat cat”?

Dog eat cat would please Snoopy better, perhaps.

Dogs are sensible, but I think cats are more so, especially because they have much more pride.

Charles Brown’s games are never close

You mean, there was another team as bad as Chuck’s?

I love the artwork here — subtle changes in the last panel that convey the head turned toward Snoopy.

Dog-eat-dog during warmups, anyway. Then came the game…

I love these old strips. Makes me really miss Charles Schulz.

“Was it a close game?”“Well…….it STARTED 0 to 0…….”

“…until the last dog was hung…”

At this point we’ve only seen one game where the team got humiliatingly crushed. Most of the games depicted we never know the score or the outcome so we can assume that unlike the team in it’s classic form, at this point they may actually be a fair team.

Just give Snoopy a sausage…
