I think they don’t make paper bags that inflatable like they used to.

Lucy reminds me of Ramona Quimby, who decided at age four that “great big noisy fusses” were the way to get noticed.

I’m starting to understand why Linus needed a blanket. . .

If you could make that noise yourself, why’d you rely on that?

I’ve always gotten good laughs with a little party trick something like this paper bag bit. It involves carefully folding up a rose petal, usually one that has dropped from a displayed vase of fresh roses. You fold it into bag shape, being careful to enclose a bit of air. While you are doing this, you just keep talking about what everyone has been talking about. People will be looking in your direction and will notice the odd thing you are doing with the rose petal. While continuing to talk, pinching the little petal/bag of air with the thumb and first two fingers, swiftly bring it up to smack against your own forehead and… POP! …A surprisingly loud pop will sound. There usually follows a moment of astonished silence… then serious laughter.
