Well, the “Peanuts” gang never aged nor grew up for fifty years.
Some people grow up, other just get older. I know a lot of “adults” that are still mentally in middle school, sittin’ at the cool kids’ table, mocking those around them.
For those who may be wondering. Lucy later said that when she grew up, she wanted to work in an advertising agency.
If Schulz had ever allowed Lucy to grow up, she either would have become a psychiatrist or a talk show host (a la Jennie Jones).
Don’t worry, Lucy. Most of us “adults” are just as surprised as you are.
