Charlie Brown is too afraid of her to tell her how retarded she is

“Can you count stars, Abraham?”

(WARNING – a ‘simple’ observation not meant to stir up controversy or hurt anyone’s feelings. Just a simple statement concerning how Lucy ‘might’ see and interpret life. sigh) -—— Lucy may be way ahead of her time in culture. She seems to just reject what doesn’t fit her perceptions and idiosyncrasies and inject what makes sense to her. That way everyone but her is wrong! Therefore she doesn’t have to listen to or discuss differing ideas on anything with anyone else. And she can go through life thinking that everyone else wants to hear what she has to say and wants to do it the way she wants it done! And if they don’t – well then they are just ‘stupid’, ‘misogynistic’, ‘insensitive’, etc. etc. etc.

When I was little I climbed a tree once, with a match, thinking that if I were closer to the sun the match would light up. I’ve learned a tad bit about science since then, of course!

Now you should be able to see the Moon!
