I don’t know which is more wrong here: gossiping/insulting or eavesdropping

Yeah, you have a few years yet to start with dirty thoughts.

…and an immaculately clean conscience!

With his clean thoughts we need Pig-Pen in Congress or in the Oval Office to replace one of the miscreants who only superficially appear clean.

And that’s the important.

And that’s what matters the most! HA!

His cloud is missing.

I don’t see it as gossip. My dictionary defines gossip as “Rumor or talk of a personal, sensational or intimate nature.” I doubt that Patty didn’t think she was pointing out anything that Charlie Brown didn’t already see. Her mistake was talking loudly enough for Pig-Pen to hear. She could have waited until she was alone with Charlie Brown. And if, being charitable, we give her the benefit of the doubt, she might have been about to ask Charlie, “Should we do something to help him?” The fact that Pig-Pen heard her was a blessing, because it gave him an opportunity to remind Patty (and is) that having a clean heart is more important than a clean exterior.

Clean thoughts are #1 priority.

…and I like beer!
