C’mon Hobbes. You can’t block a serve!

Fact: although the game was invented in 1895, it wasn’t called “volleyball” until 1896- 120 years ago.

The sweetest cherries devour only big animals……

I remember a “Tumbleweeds” episode where Lotsa Luck was going through a tennis phase. The Chief told him, “You’re awfully small for tennis. Have you ever tried ping pong?”“Yes, but, dash it all, I keep falling off the table!”

If I’m honest this isn’t one of Watterson’s best strips.

I didn’t even get a tiny snicker out of it.

Thank you, I always suspected that Women’s Beach Volleyball was invented for “older members of the YMCA.”
