The late actor Peter Falk famously had a glass eye since childhood. Growing up, he was intensely sensitive about his fake eye — until the Little League baseball game when he was about ten when he tried to steal third base and was called out by the umpire…at which point Falk jumped up from his slide, popped out his glass eye, and tossed it to the horrified umpire, shouting, “Here, you need this more than I do!”
